An export department was set up within the company to explore neighbouring countries and expand our share in a competitive but nevertheless open market. Germany and the Benelux countries were the first targeted, quickly followed by Spain and Portugal, then the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Contacts are already well established with the latest countries to join the European Union. In the medium term Central Europe is a further possibility. Exports will soon represent 10% of the Group's business.
